A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

4 again.
 
4 this morning, I must admit, I did not expect that word at all!
 
The normal 5 ... again
 
Usual 4 again today 1Y, 2G 1Y, 3G, 5G. Would have been a three but I went down the topical route.
 
4 for me. Not a word I can ever remember using, although I know I've read it a fair few times!

3 this morn, could've gone either way on 3rd though, many possibles
 
Phew! 6 today eventually after 3 wrong guesses to first letter.

4 yellows on second go. Only one fitted.
 
WAMT? My first failure at Wordle! :banghead:

Entirely my own fault for discounting a yellow letter at guess 2 ... and getting increasingly desperate trying to get the correct first letter after having 4G on guess 4, finding words I didn't know were words ...

2Y, 3G +1Y followed by 3G, 4G,4G,4G.

For some reason (I have no idea what!) I discounted the Y from guess 2 ...

You're not the first to suffer the ignominy of failure at Wordle and you're extremely unlikely to be the last! Here's hoping for an easier one for you tomorrow.

I saw the WAMT post before this one - wouldn't have been quite so sympathetic had I known it was such a brane phart!!!
 
Mine was getting 3 letters correct on the first attempt, then having to find 1 letter for the next 5 go's with more word options then I had attempts. Had I worked backwords through the alphabet instead of forwards id have got it.

Mine was similar though I’d got the ‘hard‘ part but took 4 goes for one letter:
B####—##B#O—#OOOO—#OOOO—#OOOO—OOOOO
 
5 for me today. Better than a fail!
 
And me! 5 stabs :)
 
A lucky 4 today :)
 
5 today, nearly gave up as all my likely letters were excluded.

A 3 today, a good first guess helped 3G, 4G, 5G.
 
Back to a lucky 3 for me. y. yyg, ggggg.

4, got 2 green on first, same 2G, 3G, had narrowed it down significantly with all them greys, only word I could think of on 4th was correct thankfully

A 3 today :banana: first guess 2Y then second 3G, third guess ... bingo :D
 
I did it again just now and got it in 2!

Does that count? :)
