I found it very dodgy today.
 
4 again today ... about par for the course atm
 
And a 3 again for me today, 2y, 3g, 5g.
 
The word list must be very limited as PUNIC is not in there. (I don't think this is a spoiler.)
 
Needed 'em all today! Never mind, it's only a game!

Umm .. maybe you’re right but I see it as an adjective. Just had a Google and first dictionary agrees with me.
 
Not had a 6 in a while, well I did today ... that was tough - and I had 2 green first try!
 
Sorry, yes, it's an adjective but a proper one! Of or relating to Carthage.

I agree with that but it can also mean treacherous — like these bloody Carthaginians not playing fair, elephants over the Alps and worse — when I would not have thought it was proper.

Anyway, not very important but I do wonder what the word list is etc etc.
 
I think NYT are f'ing with us tbh, got this one in 3 but I got very lucky with my first and 2nd
 
I think SKY NEWS advertised today’s word this am.
 
Needed full 6 today - only because it was related to something I’d been thinking about for other stuff - and couldn’t think of anything else that fitted!!

Well after the dizzy heights of the last 2 days back to 4 today, 0, 3Y, 4G, 5G.1645006324390.png
 
4 for me too. Went back to my usual starter and blanked. 2nd word got me 2y, then 3g + 1y which left me no alternative that I could think of!
 
4 today, 2Y, 2Y, 2G + 1Y, 5G
 
Only had 3Y after 3 guesses. In the 4th, I was just trying to fix or eliminate some letter positions, and it surprisingly turned out to be the correct word!
 
Apparently, todays word is too hard. Maybe every day's word should be WORDS...

A close-run thing today - felt a bit like playing Absurdle. Had 4G by my 3rd guess, but there were 4 more words that fit and only 3 guesses left. Got it on the last one.

Easy one today for me, had first letter green and 3 yellow first try. Got it in 3

5 today - and interestingly not all real words that aren’t obscure but may be seen as “politically incorrect” are included in it’s dictionary……..
 
6 for me today ... the normal "if there is one letter to guess, my guess will be wrong" 3 times! :banghead:

Steady 4 again today, 2Y, 1G 2Y, 3G, 5G.
Glad I normally do it when I first start as I have noticed a lot of spoilers in my news feeds since NYT took over.
 
6 for me too. 2y, 3g, 4g, 4g, 4g, sweat a bit because there were 2 possible answers left! Got lucky with the last chance.
 
4 today, 3 B then 4 O but quite a few choices that could fit the missing letter :(
