Hmmm...Amazon...Just found the 'one-click buy option' and ordered something I need but was going to wait for...my fault...and like I said, I do need it . What annoyed me though, is with one click I bought the item...but when I tried to access my account it asked for a password. So I'm free to spend money without a password, but not to look at my order status etc. Anyone could have clicked that and spent God knows who much on my account. Is it just me that thinks that's rather silly?

I don't like outfits that store personal details for that one click business.

You must have enabled the one click option at some point as it's disabled by default. Do you know they patented that one-click idea lol

It's the first time I've used in Amazon in (no-joke here) years. I NEVER use Amazon anymore, I only used them this time becuase they were the first relevant result on a Google search

It's a very sneaky feature.

It only happens because you are automatically logged in at your computer.

If you tried it at a friends house, you would need to enter your password before becoming logged it.

I don't doubt that, it just seems odd that I can spend money without entering my password, but I have to enter it to look at my account/order status etc. Just seems cheeky of them.

I've just checked from home on my pc Chris, and I've got to sign in to turn on 1-click ordering. At least that's what it's saying at the top right of the Amazon UK screen.
I wonder if it's in the preferences or settings somewhere?

I'm going to have to find them. I've never turned it on, and certainly don't want it on. I'm sure it's a useful feature for some people, but the fact it didn't ask for a PW but did to do anything else is what really gripped me.

Thinking about it, it might be worth clearing your cookies out.

Don't talk to me about 1click buying my girlfriend bought 7 yes 7 copies of a book "faith the story of a dog with two legs"

SEVEN copies? and not the EX girlfriend?

It must be love!!!
