Now and again here at Tp a member of staff will decide they have too much going on in real life and have to made the choice between modding and not modding, and sadly, Ian has decided that now is his time to step down from the Site Staff. :(

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Ian for everything he has done to make TP the place it is today, he has been with us from almost the beginning and it i s sad to see him go, though happily he will still be found on the forums as and when time allows. If you need Ian for anything, we are sure he can be found in your local park, dressed as an action man or disguised as a tree...taking pictures of birds! :D

Please extend your thanks to Ian for his contribution over the years to TP, we dont want him straying too far from the bird forum, so please, make him feel loved. :clap:
 
Well must say thanks Ian for the help and insparation you have provided, keep posting though to give us somthing to aim for.

Mate, thanks for all your hard work,(if that's the right term for what a mod does :lol::lol:) I will no doubt bump into you somewhere aroud and hopefully still on here as a "normal person" :lol:

Ian you've been an inspiration to me and have set the benchmark that I aspire to with my wildlife photography. Through the times we've met up you've become a friend too. I'm sorry you're stepping down although not altogether surprised. Just don't become a stranger on TP :nono:

How does it feel to know that you can get banned now, just like the rest of us? lol :lol:

:lol: though in fairness, he could have got banned as a mod, but the committee meeting to make the decision would have required extra portions of prawn sandwiches and bollinger as well as use of that sound proof room Marcel thinks no one knows anything about :D ;)

Ian, you've been a true inspiration to me and I'm sure many others, both as a mod and a photographer. Sad to hear you're putting yourself out to pasture but at least you'll still be around with your amazing pictures ... Good luck for the future :thumbs:
 
Always regarded by all as a good mod and will remain a distinguished member.

Sorry to hear you are stepping down as a mod, but fully understand how time consuming it must be. Thanks to you, I am now a firm wildlife fan......though only when it's not raining.....:). Cheers for everything Ian and hope to still see you around.
