A big Hello from me in Oldham.

Hello everyone im Carl from Oldham just dropping in to introduce myself and say hi, and my first impression is wow, this looks like a great friendly forum and an ideal place to get more out of my hobby. I have been into photography for about 18 months now since my partner bought me a Sony A300 to replace my compact cybershot, most of the time ive had my dslr i have been in auto-pilot mode and only in the last 6 months have i started delving into the minefield of photography, admittedly i do tend to try and run before i can walk which is my pitfall and often as a result end up frustrated, but this looks like the place to learn and pick up tips.
