I came across the Razerblade pro via an Apple forum discussing how the new macbooks signal the demise of Apple as a supplier of professional computers. These things actually look like a real Macbook in black, rather than the macbook air that they all seem to resemble now, and are available in 17" screen size (for those who want to edit images on a laptop type). They're not free - I've seen a price of £1799, presumably for a base model - but if you want a machine that's designed to be powerful, with plenty of ports and an SD card slot, plus a decent screen that can deliver 100% Adobe RBG gamut this could be the answer for you.

To be fair that does look amazing, with thunderbolt/USB C I assume I could attached a 4k display to that, and then attach my other monitor to the HDMI port, it looks like it genuine desktop replacement & could be used as such, honestly thinking about selling up my huge desktop machine xD lol

EDIT: £3499, maybe not !! lol

I'd see it as an Apple alternative at Apple pricing. No bargains there unfortunately.
