A 13-year-old eagle huntress in Mongolia

I looked at this earlier today, the whole idea of hunting with golden eagles is mind blowing and the last picture with her almost hugging the eagle is amazing.
 
Thanks for the link Rhodese.... a great read, and the images are fantastic.... Eagles can form a strong bond with their handler....

Did any of you watch the film of a strike on a fox, the links on the same page?

I may be wrong and someone could probably correct me but if i remember rightly they showed quite abit of this eagle hunting in a documentary on the BBC (most probably 1 with david attenborough) which i found interesting at the time


edit: infact its what the clip is from of them after the Fox
 
that eagle is nearly as big as she is. the pictures are fantastic and the idea of hunting with a eagle is just so cool
 
That last picture is just incredible. You can feel the bond between them.

I saw that documentary. That also was fantastic.
