As per the title, 960gb SanDisk ssd on sale at ebuyer when using the discount code 'SSD' for £164 instead of £204.

Thanks! I, too, accidentally clicked 'Buy' with a couple in my basket. One for the new laptop which is being built and should be on its way today, and one for a fast scratch drive in my desktop for video and image editing.

Ebuyer are showing the code as 'expired' now.

Yeah I think the code was only valid for the day I posted it?

Slightly miffed as I'd only purchased a 1tb ssd from Amazon a couple weeks back. Ah well, glad a couple folk took advantage as it was a pretty good price.

Now £149.99 (+£3.49 carriage) at BT Shop for this weekend only.

Item code 9SRCPK00, and use voucher 9SRC60BT.

Note: put more than one in your basket and the discount is applied only once.

Excellent. I'v e been waiting for a 1GB SSD for less than £150. That's close enough.

Plus £1.25 to charity via EasyFundRaising.

Thanks, snapped one up! :)

These are £142.99 at Amazon just now if anyone wants one (or one more!)

Too slow for both deals :(

Oh well - I'll stick with the 120GB

A bit of housekeeping and its down to 16s
Can I ask what you did with regards to "housekeeping"?

I'm pretty happy with how fast mine boots, but just wondering if there's anything else I could do to make it faster. :)

I can't be 100% as it wasn't me, but I suspect stopping unwanted thanks like acrobat reader update and services for old printers, that sort of thing.

I was going to say - how on earth did you manage to have a 2.5 min boot time? Really you need to keep an eye on your startup as so many apps put crap in the startup these days, google update, itunes at startup, adovbe updates. You need to keep it clean for best performance. All those apps in the background eating a little memory and processing.

BVC420BT as a code gets the Sandisk 480Gb SSD for £79.99 too just now if that helps anyone.
