Back in october when I picked up my sony alpha a200, I got two 4Gb Lexar CF cards 60X
for.. wait for it.. £7 each. You can't deny that's a bargain. (they no longer sell them though)
I'm aware lexar probably doesn't compare to the likes of sandisk, but £7! dirt cheap for a student beginnning photography

The Extreme IVs are still in stock at Amazon, however the picture of the product has changed; the picture no longer shows the UDMA version but original red and black design 
Does this mean that subsequent buyers won't get the UDMA cards?

Mine has started to say its full when there are like 6 pictures on it, does this mean its buggered, would a Format help. When it says its full, i turn the camera off and i have like 600+ left, then i take 1 pic and it says its full.

I always format cards once i have copied the contents off. Has to be worth a try specially if only getting half a dozen shots on 8gb !

Interesting as I had exactly the same experience the other day with mine ...
Formatted again (I always format after copying photos over anyway) & it's been OK since but I'll be keeping an eye on it.
Yeah i have formatted it again, and it seems ok for now.
