Right, I'm starting to get a little p***ed off now trying to find a suitable bag that I can go trekking over a weekend that will hold all my camera equipment too.

I've first found the lowepro rover pro 45. which I thought was excellent, but nope....... not available anywhere.

Then I found the Naneu K5 V2. Which is an 80L bag with dedicated camera compartment and internal bag. Even better I thought.......Nope, not available for delivery in the UK.

It's starting to do my head in.

Can anybody recommend an 80L bag that has separated compartments and will hold an internal camera bag.

Best idea is to make your own. The problem is that camera rucksacs just aren't made to be comfortable carrying anything like weight, strap systems are poor compared to hiking rucksacs, they don't have airflow systems etc.

I bought the older version of this (http://lowealpine.com/uk/airzone-pro-45-55-5) with the large side pocket, bought a couple of padded inserts off Ebay and reinforced them with some 1.2mm aluminium sheet...does the job brilliantly, far better than any camera backpack.. tried a few too topspec ones beforehand too including F Stop, Clik Elite.

I have a couple of Lokas and a Sukha. The Loka is fantastic as a small-ish day bag, I bought the Sukha recently for a bit of extra capacity but haven't been out with it yet. I also have some smaller bags and accessories. They're all well designed and manufactured.

Any chance you guys could show a couple of pictures to show sizes and examples of how you have retrofitted your own bags, etc?

The F-Stop Sukha is 70 litres and seems to be somewhat cheaper than the 80 litre Shinn. Would you be willing to add a drybag or similar attached to the top lid to increase capacity?

They are great quality bags, and very comfortable in my experience - but I do agree that £400 is rather pricey.

On the website, they have examples of what fits in each ICU, it also shows how the fit into each bag kind of, and what space is left above (EDIT: they don't do this anymore, sorry). Also, if you're wanting something from f-stop, you might have to order quickly, it took 6 months to get some of my order and 6 weeks after that to get a refund on what they didn't send. They also might be going bankrupt (according to a few websites anyway, although f-stop have put out a response on their website) so again, I'd order quickly, or through a reseller like paramo.
