Well done Michael reaching the end...that orange sky looks rather foreboding I'm expecting the eye of sauron to appear

Two good shots to finish on weather Michael, glad we don`t get snow here.
Two beautiful shots to finish even with a wonky horizon.
Both good for the theme, we had snow today too.
Festive ... a lot of fun cleverly done.
Weather .... love that FG detail. (#1)
Colour - nicely done and worsk well
Rustic - its a nice shot, but Im not sure its on theme, altho it is a very subjective theme
Festive, yep, that is
Weather - another wide open theme, but I prefer your second shot

#2 for me Michael, I'm a sucker for silhouettes and that sky is a fantastic colour.
A couple of lovely shots to finish off your challenge this year Michael, I love the snowy landscape but it is the super colours in the second shot that gets my vote, a nice silhouetted foreground
Well done mate in finishing yet another 52 week challenge, I have enjoyed your images as I do every year![]()
Thanks very much for the comments, the snow scene was driving me bonkers, it is on a hill, I took a lot of the fire!My catch-up comments for the last 3 weeks of 2017 (hoping to be quicker in 2018)
Wk 50 - Rustic - nothing better than a real fire for a rustic feel. Flames well captured they are NOT easy.
Wk 51 - Festive - Good contrast with background, perhaps a little more fill in light from bottom right to give full shape to bauble might help. Good positioning.
Wk 52 - Weather - First one of the snow for me - though is that a long sloping hill on horizon ?
It was a lovely colour, a lady pulled up and said you ought to be at the top of the hill, the sun was apparently in view too. Parking spot was completely iced at the top. But pleased with what I got.Well done on completing your 52 AGAIN, Michael, and two strong images to end with. Such contrasting images too, with the first one conveying the cold atmosphere of snow, but my favourite is the second one with that spectacular sky. Well done and I look forward to seeing your images in your new thread![]()
