7th time down avenue 52 COMPLETED

Excellent effort, Michael. The lighting may have been lucky, but you still need to be there to take it! Well done.

Great picture, nothing to criticise!

Song - I like the silhouette against the blue sky
Order - wasn't sure what the order was until someone mentioned it I prefer the 1st of the 2 pictures
Comfort - As others have said the lightin works really well.

Beautiful image, well composed, love the washed out effect. The lens used to take this must be huge! Good job keeping her steady.

Great photo, well composed and super sharp!

Great capture with it being back lit with the blown background a positive, hairy and horny (y)

Nice ... processing or did it turn out more or less like that? Whatever, a very lovely image. (y)

Nice... The slightly over exposed, oof background really makes the deer stand out in the image.
Plenty of detail and you've got a strong side on shot of the head catching the eye.
The B&W processing suits it.

I like the simplicity, angle and texture of Smooth. As for Mineral, difficult to choose between the one posted here and the alternative on Flickr ... I very much like the writing in the sand but then also the shallow depth of field and colour in the other.

I like smooth - the light catched it nicely and the sky makes a good backdrop.

Mineral's good, I like the composition and colours although I might have used a slightly greater DOF.

Great smooth, very simple and effective.
Mineral, the sand was well seen and i like the contrast of the brown, sand and blue.

Have you been on a visit to a park?

I like the angle, texture and simpleness of the smooth shot.

Mineral - The choice of angle and DOF works well for me, the colours add some extra interest as well. Overall a nice shot.

Smooth is plain and simple + on theme :) I like the mono of Mineral but not the frame, well done on catch up :)

Hi, Smooth, yeah, nice minimal submission that works for me.

Mineral, i like the contrasting red and blues.

Cheers.

Super smooth photo Michael, I really like it with that touch of blue sky against the grey.
I really like the sand one too, the blue and the red reall add something. I like the writing in the sand one on Flickr but I'd like it in colour.

Thanks everyone, yes, these were taken on a park, just by chance it had sand too, Dof was tricky using my 18-135.

Smooth - I like that, clean and simple.

Mineral - I like the PoV and the colours of the wood and the sand. Not so sure about the ultra shallow DoF.

Hairy - Great detail and the Deer really stands out I like th B/W too
Smooth - nice and simple it works well
Mineral - I like the colours but needs more of it in focus I think. I had a look on flicker I quite like the writing in the sand but think it might be better in colour

Thank you everyone, now whole, I'm not 100% happy with but it's all I got this week that suited the theme, far to tired to attempt putting anything else together. Awful light, rainy day, freezing cold, the original was boring, so I decided to play with glowing edges in elements. So may well be a candidate for a reshoot.

Hi Michael. It is Whole circles but can't quite make out what it is. The bg is foliage and can see the effects of glowing edges has on that but not how/what created the circles. Am I being (particularly) dense today?

I have no idea what I'm looking at, but I like the photo. Nice processing.
