Anyone had any issues claiming for a non delivery of an item.I have ust started using them, first shipment had a damaged item which i mailed about and another item was set.MNo my second order was 2 items-a CF card and a V8 battery charger, CF card arrived last week but no charger. I mailed them and 3 mins later got a return mail telling me i need to contact my post office as sometimes they dont notify customers of delivery items and keep hold of them.I havent had any slips through the door.I mailed again to ask for a tracking number but was given the same reply to contact post office...I feel that it should be their duty to provide a tracking number or at least follow up the parcel until i actually get it...
 
I have never had an issue with them. Sometimes orders do take longer to arrive and they always post each line item from an order separately.

I think they ask for you to wait several weeks before contacting them about an item not turning up. Have you looked at their FAQs on the site?
 
I have nothing but praise for them. I once ordered some items from them which had damaged plastic case in the packaging. I informed them couple of weeks later and they sent me a new one without any questions asked!
 
Cheers will check the FAQ on their site just now.I just thought it strange that items sents at the same time didnt arrive together and then to be told that it was up to me to contact the post office an they couldnt even provide me with a tracking number for the item.
 
Delivery can be problematic from 7day, I've not had anything go missing but sometimes items do take a long time. If you are at all worried contact them and ask them to confirm the item has been sent, there will not be a tracking number as they send by first class/second class mail.

Hence my problem, they say it was sent out and its showing on my account as sent.Will the post office have info on the item being sent 1st class with no tracking number as thats what 7dayshop are asking me to do.
 
No they won't. I suggest you wait a while as I've seen items take ten days to arrive, I don't know how long you have already waited mind you. If it still does not turn up contact them again and say if they don't sort it asap you'll get in touch with your card issuer and start a charge back for the missing item.
 
I ordered a few things a few weeks back.

I ordered two things in 1 shipment and another a week later.

The thing I ordered last, turned up first and then the thing I ordered first turned up about 4 days after the second thing in the first shipment.

Their delivery is a bit wierd, but eveything arrived safely.

I had some paper sitting at the local post office from 7dayshop, no slip or any other notification from Royal Mail. If I hadn't been picking up another item and the chap behind the desk at the sorting office hadn't noticed the address I guess it would still be there. The moral from this experience is check at the post office.

On another order 7dayshop sent me the wrong CF cards (half the size twice the speed). That took a couple of emails and a couple of weeks to resolve.

The whole 7dayshop process is less than perfect in my experience, but I still use them for non-essentials.

I've had pretty similar experiences to others

Normally taking a week or two to be despatched and delivered

I did order an incorrect item a while back and they happily let me return them even though I had opened it

I've not had any non-delivery problems like you - but I have had issues in the past with the post office keeping items as they couldn't deliver an item but they hadn't put a card through my door, perhaps that's happened with your item, I'd give your local PO a ring
 
I've never had any real problems with them. Most orders take around a week or so to arrive. The only issue was quite a few years ago when I ordered a Canon 70-200 lens. They were selling way less than canon liked and it seemed the supply dried up from Canon for a while. But every other order has been fine.
 
Same as above really, cheap prices, slow delivery, but everything arrives safely , I use them all the time for film.
 
I have ordered plenty of times from them. I accept they have a slow delivery time (typically around a week) and take that into account when ordering. If I needed something urgently I would go elsewhere. But I always use them now for anything they stock that I don't need urgently.

I just experienced their after sales support for the first time and I have to say I was impressed.

I recently received an order of Eneloops (with free plastic cases) and some extra cases for my existing Eneloops. 2 of the cases were cracked and broken in the post. I emailed them asking for a replacement for the 2 broken ones & received an email response within 15 minutes saying they would send me free replacements. Much to my surprise the replacements arrived the very next day. Not only that they send some extra cases (presumably to cover any further breakages in the post) I was well happy.
 
I ordered 8 Eneloops and 2 LP-E6 batteries. The Eneloops arrived within a couple of days, but the LP-E6's never arrived. I waited a few days and made contact with 7dayshop and they informed me that I had to wait 10 days and also contact my local post office to see if it was being held there.

10 days later, still no batteries, not at the post office waiting.

Contacted 7dayshop again and they asked me if I wanted a refund or the batteries sending out again.

Hopefully they'll turn up this time.

The customer service is excellent - always had a response with 10-20 minutes, despite being via Email.
 
Speak as you find. I have always found them excellent to deal with.
 
Made my first order with them on thursday - for a CF card. Arrived today so not complaining.
