I bought some Eneloop AA batteries from the 7dayshop over a month ago and haven't received them. I have sent THREE emails to ask them where my order is and have had no reply. Nearly £25.00 of hard earned cash down the loo. Anyone else have problems with this company or a contact number maybe? I'm more than willing to give them some slack but this is just ridiculous.

I heard only good things before so I'm completely peeved at this.

They never were the quickest to despatch.
If you check your account, do the goods show as having been despatched yet or not?

Did check my account last week but now I can't log in on the site. There is skulduggery afoot!!!

I ordered last week, and they have taken a week to dispatch.
Guess that's where they get their name from.....

Just sent my fourth email asking where my batteries are. I could have got them from China twice over by now :)

You've given them a fair shot. Now put it in the hands of the credit card company. It's what you pay them for.

Will give them till Monday night then I will set my mum on them :)

It will also cost the sender the same piece of paper and toner for the first fax, and a telephone call (for the fax transmission) each time it is resent!

Never had a problem, a while ago I emailed them to say one of the AA own brand rechargables I bought from them was leaking and what should I do. No respose to the email, but got a new battery in the post.

If it was dispatched and didn't turn up then it's got lost in the post. Ask for another set to be sent out. Usually its a thieving neighbour or postie.

I've used them loads and obviously been lucky that nothing has ever gone missing.

This is why I'm not going in all guns blazing, sometimes things outside of the suppliers control happen, Not replying to my emails is annoying though.

Just my luck I guess. Thieving neighbours could be likely even the kids ride on toys have been stolen from the back yard. I have a list :(

I always get a response within 24hrs and sometimes within minutes of mailing them.I ordered a battery charger and other items but the charger didnt turn up, after a few emails i had my money returned as they were now out of stock..:thumbsdown:Im sure you will get it resolved soon.

Not really, you can send a fax off most laptops and PCs for a zero sheet option, or you can even just write on the back of a used piece of paper (if you want to save one sheet). You can then put the same piece through multiple times.

Most people have free calls to 01 and 02 numbers these days, so no cost there either for the sender.

Or tape the ends together to form a loop and send for about 30 minutes ! Uses up loads of paper at the far end. Also make sure that what you send is a big black square.

Probably illegal though !

Geezer
Your post shows its been dispatched. It obviously has got lost in the post, if this is so they wait 30 days to see if it turns up before a claim can be put in.You need to check with your post office. I use them on a monthly basis, never had a problem ever.

Wouldn't be illegal, but that is very very EVIL..

I would hate to get on your wrong side ;)

7dayshop have been in touch and will let you know the outcome. I like the fax idea but you have a sick mind

My other favourite is leaving free vistaprint 24 hour minicab taxi cards all around town promising really cheap prices. Then put your target's phone number on !

Cue calls at all times of night forever !

Oh - and writing rude messages on a persons front lawn in roundup weedkiller - takes about a week to become legible !

This could turn out to be a very popular thread. I love the Taxi trick :)

trick thread would be nice !

back to topic - just received film from 7day. they do take their time as they probably use a supercheap post service + costumer service is probably on the low budget as well, but they are good with the prices, it's you who pays for the service etc.

in OP case it seems like it's post fault + bad costumer service.

p.s. I've used 7day a lot, and I've never had any issues with them.
