7dayshop.. Crap customer service.. avoid tbh

This is not 7dayshops fault, but a delay due to RM workers action.

It beggars belief to me why people slag RM off and think other companies are better.
I can sent a letter to ANY address in the Mainland Britian for under 40p, name another company that will do that.

I can sent a letter to ANY address in the Mainland Britian for under 40p, name another company that will do that.

1. Because the management are clueless.
2. Talk to any postie or read the leaflets they've been handing out with regard to why they have been taking strike action.
2. We no longer get early morning post because management changed the start and finish times of the posties so they cannot get out to do deliveries early.
3. Management have decided to phase out the use of bicycles yet many posties still use them.
4. Management have forced staff to use their own cars to take out deliveries.
5. There are companies who want to take over Royal Mail, the infrastructure is already in place and so are the staff.

God knows I've had my fair share of moaning about items being delayed due to the strike action but like it or loath it, many RM staff enjoy the job they do, take pride in getting their deliveries done in good time but they are frustrated at the way management are treating them.
There will be staff cuts with the changes management are making, even though RM are in profit.
Yet more people forced to claim unemployment benefit which won’t restore faith in our economy and another headache for our government.

You need to look at the bigger picture...

I ordered on Monday, products arrived today! :) Have spent nearly £500 in total over the past few year but that amount does include my first P&S camera.
 
I don't think they are that bad, I ordered 10 C41 process black and white films on August 28th and they arrived..... oh no thats right, they still haven't..... the gits. No they are rubbish! absolute rubbish!!
 
I've bought loads of stuff from them and my experience has been positive.
 
I received two padded envelopes from them yesterday. Packed not with munee, sadly, but rechargeable AAs. It took about four days from ordering. Can't complain about that.

I got two envelopes from them this morning, one with 8 AA rechargables in and the other with a 16GB Memory Card in. Ordered them on Wednesday, so not that bad really...
 
I got nothing this morning but it is only 6.5 weeks since I placed my order !

Because they haven't taken the money off my card! I am waiting for 2 Nikon straps as neither of my film camera's have straps and 10 B&W C41 films.
 
10 Kodak BW400CN films arrived today, ordered 28th Aug.......

Just the two Nikon straps now :)
 
Ordered a couple of CR2s for my film body, and a set of AAAs and they arrived within 3 days- both ordered over a weekend.

I do find they can sometimes be slow to post out, but any delays right now are probably going to be a Royal Mail issue, not the retailer.
 
I sent a faulty ND filter back to 7dayshop for a replacement, they sent an uv filter as a replacement! took about a month to get my money back, wont bother with them again!
