Cheers for that Alan!
Just ordered 2 for my 550D, grand total of £11.98!

How are enjoying you new camera Dougie and did you eventually get the 55-250?

I like my 55-250 a lot, but want to have a go at bird photography in the summer. At the moment I am considering getting a 300mm prime together with a teleconverter, it's a pity the 55-250 wont take a teleconverter. :'(

Damned expensive hobby this. :D

I did get the 55-250! Have tried it at full zoom on birds on my feeders, but the weather is so grey and overcast, I cannot get a fast enough shutter speed, so they are not very good, good practice though!

My ultimate goal is bird photography, but will need to practice first.

How do the energizer batteries compare to standard? they do look a bargain comapared to genuine nikon.

Not sure Dave!
Decent name and at this price well worth a punt.

Not sure about Nikon, but Canon don't use AA batteries. The energiser I purchased is a direct replacement for the Canon LP-5, only ordered it yesterday, so will post back when I have tried it, not much of a loss though at a fraction of a genuine Canon.

I bought one for my Canon 60D it cost the same as the link above £9.99 and it charges no problem on the charger that came with the camera....

I have just emailed them to ask - might be worth you doing the same as if they think there are others interested they may update the product description..

I may be doing 7Day a disservice for which I'm sorry because I use them quite a lot but don't expect a lot of rapid and detailed communication with them.

If you have a look at the customer reviews posted for the LP-E6 your questions might be answered.

I use 7dayshop quite a lot. At the moment I am waiting for Two sandisc CF 8g memory cards. They were the cheapest I could find.

I really should read the reviews first, shouldn't I !

Never tried to contact them before, but am ceertainly a happy returning customer of theirs, so may order a battery anyway.

One of the cheapest places I've seen for memory cards
Just had to order a couple, well @ those prices it would be rude not too :)
Also the genuine Epson printer ink prices are very competitive..........

Really? Their eneloop prices seem the same as they always have been, unless I am missing something or looking at the wrong products?

Having just bought a new flash, i thought i should get some decent batteries (and replace the non-rechargable ones in my current flashes) so after a bit of research thought i'd go with the Eneloops. On 7dayshop they had 8 for about £12, which didn't seem like a particularly spectacular price but certainly not terrible. It was the charger that confused me, because i wanted something decent but small and easy to travel with - eventually discovered that Apple sell a charger with batteries which are just rebadged Eneloops, which was only £23 with 6 batteries and a very small charger (and can use my existing *small* foreign adaptors).

They are normally fine but I'm waiting for stuff from mid December so don't know if they've had issues of some sort.

I'm partly annoyed with 7dayshop at the moment. I ordered some stuff on the 1st Jan and my order has been stuck on processed.

On the 4th Jan I ordered another item and that arrived on Saturday which is a record for 7dayshop.

So, I waitied for a few days to see what goes with my 1st Jan order and yesterday I sent a note to find out whats happened. Today I recevied a reply that my order was dispatched on the 11th and should be with me within 3-5 days as stated on their website.
Thus, I'm a little peeved on what's happened in the past two weeks with my order as all items were in stock.
Anyhow, I hope to get my batteries and charger by the weekend.

My two batteries arrived yesterday, ordered on the 31st December.

My order hasn't showed up yet as well. It does take slightly longer to get things with 7dayshop so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd had exactly the same issue, ordered stuff at the end of December, and still stuck on Processed. They took the money weeks ago, but they still haven't sending out what I ordered.
