7dayshop ... anyone used them recently?

I'm looking for a few Cokin filters and 7dayshop seem to have them at really good prices. Was wondering if anyone has dealt with them very recently, and how good their service / delivery is.

Thanks for any feedback.
 
Unless you are willing to pay extra for faster postal service, it can take a wekk or so to get stuff but if you don't mind the wait then the price savings make up for the slow speed.
 
Delivery is standard, they can takea few days to actually send stuff out which makes it longer but I've used them no problems. If you're in a big hurry I'd say buy them elsewhere, if you're not in hurry then use 7day but don't pay the extra.
 
Ordered stuff from them on Friday and it started arriving (they ship everything in separate packages to keep under the £18 vat threshhold) yesterday and the last package arrived this morning. I've been using them for years and (touch wood) have never had a problem.
 
Thanks for the feedback; I'm in no hurry to get these and a week for delivery seems fine for me ... especially when I look at the savings made on the items I want to get.
 
Another vote for 7DayShop. I have used them a couple of times recently and have not had any problems. All is just fine and prices do seem to be quite competitive. I have always just used their standard delivery and not paid for the express one.

I used them last week for some filters and stuff, the items arrived within two days.

I couldn't have asked for better service.
 
I've used them in the past, as others have said delivery times can be a bit slow but on the whole the prices make up for that.

I'm off to order some Cokin stuff off of them. Haven't used my Cokin filters for a while (more like a decade or so), and am looking to get back into it.
 
Yep, me too. Didn't require any post-sales service, but the purchasing experience with them was fine. :)
 
I've used them for years even got my first DSLR from them back before they included the VAT in the price.

Everything seems to be fine, even the inks (i half expected them to be very near or past the use by dates). But as mentioned they send out in small packages and can take a while. Don't bother with the express delivery as in my experience this can actually be slower than the standard delivery lol
 
I've bought some laptop ram from them, shipped on the 20th, still not with me as of today.

Like others have said, if you are not in a hurry.......

recieved the ram today, very slow postage, a full two weeks to get here.
 
Ordered some bits and pieces last Thursday - arrived yesterday. Second time I've used them, and probably not the last! :thumbs:
 
Bought one of those boggo tripods from there, it's actually really good for the price.

Delivery took about 5 working days, but i wasn't complaining, i went for the cheapest delivery, and it arrived, in working order, and well packaged, so i'd buy from there again!

website seems a bit, well, different!
 
I've used them for all sorts of stuff, if you don't mind the wait, the prices are good. Things like filters you can get about 2-3 days after ordering, bigger items can take a week. My 400D took 2 days to turn up due to it being sent recorded, BUT i did get it about £175 less than a friend paid a week before from a local shop:lol:

Well, thank you everyone for posting here. I've used them, based on the good feedback here, and ordered a few Cokin filters & adaptors which all arrived as ordered within a good period.

Excellent service and wonderful prices too.
