hello all.still debating over these two.frame rate,twist screen,etc.has anyone used these side by side?.i will be coming from a 1dmk3/7d1 so i am assuming both will be a major step up.many thanks in advance.haddock
 
I use both and I really can't tell the difference most of the time.

I'm afraid I don't have an opinion. I don't do much if anything that's demanding on the autofocus system. If I think AF *might* be an issue, I'll pick up a 7D II from the cupboard instead of an 80D, just to be on the safe side, but I have no idea whether that's necessary.
