7D2, Under £1k UK retail.

Just noticed the RRP on the 7D2 has dropped recently by £350, it's now under £1k.

7D3 about to be announced or a new body to replace the 7 and 10 D series?

My guess is a new model, based on both the 7 and 10 series as Canon gradually drop thier DSLR lines.

Of course it is because I rcently sold my 7DMKI and changed systems to the Nikon D500 as I felt it was a better camera that the 7DMKII.

I believe the 90D is due to be announced soon, I'm guessing that may even overtake the 7D MKII in most things so it would be a bit pointless keeping it around

Yes - I think that as processor technology has improved massively, there's little point in having 'sport' only bodies with how fast cameras are now. Hence, why Canon dropped the 1Ds series and combined this camera in the 1DX and the nikon dropped their D3X to combine a D4 etc.
