To get me back into wildlife shooting...:cool::cool::cool:

What factory settings have you changed and why, any tips on set up before I devour the manual:shrug::shrug:

nice purchase pal. Theyre a tank of a camera. Can't beat the reach of aps-c.. Enjoy the camera
 
I bought mine used at it came with canon eos 7d for dummies
much better than trolling through the canon manual and lots of nice pretty pics too lol

but there is nothing like having a real book in your hand for reference
 
Bit of bedtime reading then :) - Should I expect a mahoosive difference going 400D to 7D. I am a bit spoilt IQ wise cos of the 5D2
 
if you know your way round your 5d2 you will have no probs with the 7d
you are clearly a seasoned canon user
I am still learning the 7d's super af system this seems to give me the most problems

I don't think the 5D2 is as advanced (number of options) as 7D - I think I will punt for centre point expanded and go from there :):lol:
