I was in the Kendal store today and they told me the offer may last 1 week. So I got one.

Tis a crackin offer, but with the 7D being a speedlite transmitter, its an insane deal if your getting the 7D !!
 
I REALLY didn't need to see this offer :( I've been seriously pondering a 5D MkII and one of the main things holding me back was having to lay out £200 for the 430 flash unit.

I'm also waiting for the the firmware update that gives more video frame rate options that is rumoured to be released in Feb.

I may just crack and pull the trigger this week :bonk:
 
That's a bloody good deal when you think the 7D was around £1600 just before Christmas.
 
I would have been tempted had I not just blown £1735 on a lens this week especially as I want another 580EXII.

Willing to offer £250 by PayPal gift for the 580 EX II if anyone just wants to buy a NEW 7D for £1000. (A NEW 580 EX II is only £284 from Onestop).
 
Just phoned now. They have sold 14 this morning and have no more bodies only deals. Looks like my wife has just missed out!
 
The deal is now only available for kits (7D 18-135mm or 5DII 24-105). Sadly, it would be hard to convince myself to spend £2.4k, when I don't even need the lens. What is even more sad I am still at work
 
I'm comtemplating buying the kit and selling lens and flash. Don't know if anyone buys kit lens though even for big disocunts.

24-105 would an easy job, but I imagine 18-135 would not be as popular. It should be doable though if you want to invest the time and money. It it is too much for me at the moment, but good luck with whatever you decide.
 
I was seriously considering the 5D MkII + 24-105L for £2349, but they've now jacked up the price by £50. I think I'm going to wait and see what February brings us in terms of deals/new products as I can get the same package from Kerso for not a lot more.

With the video firmware update on the horizon, who knows they may just put on a special deal to promote that.
