Ah, I see. I don´t know if this type if processing has a name. I like b/w shots because they add something sad and mystic to photos. As the town where most b/w shots have been taken is an old industrial town with a high unemployment rate nowadays I felt it was adequate. The town´s called Marl and I was living there for about 12 years. One project I have in mind since about two years is to photograph faces of Marl, from the shop keeper, miners and the many turkish immigrants.hehe hard to explain , it's a certain photographic style that people use. You have done nothing wrong in the shots it's just something that doesn't appeal to me. For example 13# , it's just a closed shop 17# just a block of flats.

Since 2 years I live in a small town in the rural Münsterland, the town is called Dülmen. Sometimes I miss the "big city" marl.
