Taken at my grandmas house in Weismoor, Ostfriesland, Germany. Her house is full of memories from my childhood. My grandpa died last christmas. Last week we met up in my grandmas house with the whole family to support her.

Day 3.

Way to work - flying with 150km/h on the autobahn.

Hi, nice photos I particularly like the "enter the blue" and the one taken in the Wildpark. As for the 150kmh - I moved from Germany to Switzerland last year the 120 limit here takes some getting used to. :nono:

Good luck on the photo a day - it is like a slow speed roller coaster.

All the best for your 365 :)

Love the little boy shot, composition makes it really interesting.

Lots of other nice varied shots too.

I think it´s more dangerous to drive at 120km/h as it is very monotonous.

It´s a small shed next to an old farm. The farmer offers flowers, jam and sometimes vegetables in the shed. Open 24hours cause it´s self service. Throw 2 Euro in a box for a bunch of flowers and you can choose your fave.
Went there yesterday to get some flowers for my wife.

#13 Closed, the Marler Stern, what used to be a big shopping mall is becoming a desert. Karstadt, the biggest store in the mall, closed in February.

#15 Townhouses Marl, Germany
Marl is located at the north of the ruhrarea. Back in the 60s there were plans to combine all cities and villages of the ruhrarea to one big city, the Ruhrstadt. The plans were to locate the administration in Marl. 2 out of 4 steel townhouses were built and shortly afterwards the plans for ruhrstadt were abandoned. The two townhouses are still in good order but also ugly.

Love the Townhouses, looks a bit like something from a ScFi movie, just ready to take off.

Dave.

Wow! Loving all of these so far - the colours and processing are awesome!

Thanks klc_001 nad shrubmonkey. I´m always happy about comments.

#16 looks terrible from the outside but is very luxorious inside. A friend of mine had an apartment on the top fllor. Is was huge and built over 2 floors. Also the view from there is impressive.
Years ago, when the blocks were built they were sold out quickly.

Thanks ShrubMonkey and Chilimonster

#21 Vienna, view from our terrace. In June 2006 we travelled to the Germany - Austria match and were lucky to find two guys who live in the middle of vienna in a luxorious apartment on the top floor. The offered us to stay there for 3 nights.
We had some great days during the EC and germany actually won that night. 1:0 Ballack ( *** ballacktische )

Some good shots however most of them are too flickrish/studenty for my taste , 13# for example.
Thanks for your comment Pirate but what is flickrish/studenty? Am always willing to learn new ways.

Enthusiastic greetings from Duelmen ( just found out that the local gym offers boxing course now, will join tomorrow )

hehe hard to explain , it's a certain photographic style that people use. You have done nothing wrong in the shots it's just something that doesn't appeal to me. For example 13# , it's just a closed shop 17# just a block of flats.

20# Is an old building , good processing... black and white so that appeals to me!
