OK Birthday coming up and getting nagged by the other half as to what I want....... about the only thing I need at the moment (wanting is different) is a Decent Circular Polarising filter.

Hoya 77mm CPL at WE is £54.99

Hoya 77mm CPL Pro1 at WE is £149.99

So other than 1 being 3 x the price (nearly) whats the difference? (as WE definition is the same for both)
 
I've got the cheapest of the cheap Hoya 77mm CPL and it does the job for me :thumbs:
The differences between the two probably lie in multi-coating to prevent flare/ghosting and over-polarisation but I can't say I've had any problem with it myself.

Yup....dunno what happened there.....works fine now....think it was a browser problem.

Excellent quality PL filter though.....used to have the 52mm version on an old D40x kit lens. Now have the HD version...even better! Doubt you'd get a 77mm for less than £100 though:shake:

Ok its from HK...but very good price nonetheless. You'd be unlucky to pay import duty on something like this too...
