Looking for a new camera please help?

Both from the same range, so both have the same control layout. I've been considering the 800D to take over from my 550D for wildlife. It has a more sophisticated autofocus system and a higher continuous shooting rate than the 750D. It's also more expensive - quite a lot more expensive last time I looked. What's important to you? What will one do for you that the other won't?

If it was me I'd be looking at the 800D, or maybe one from one of the more 'pro' ranges might be even better if the budget will stretch a bit. I'm only sticking with the xxxD range due to size and weight issues but the more pro end of Canon's portfolio will have better fps in continuous shooting, which in sport could be a real advantage.

I have the 750d, its a good camera, but Im about to sell it and will get something which has better low light iso perf. I use it with a tamron 150-600 and found it a bit noisy on the long end

I looked at the 800d and didn’t like the fact there was no top lcd etc.
In the end I went with the 77d, couldn’t stretch to the 80d
Very impressed with the 77d, it’s small, light and so far seems very capable

I got a 80D in the end

Congrats, 80D is a very capable and nice to use body IMHO.
Also nice to see a thread where the OP comes back and shares their decision and outcome.
