750D and760D

Big price difference between MkII and these and this is reflected in the performance of the MkII.

I heard that Sony cameras are using canon sensors.. "Lol"

70D has weather proofing and mfa, both not on the 750d? faster too ....... better video

It will be interesting to see if the 24 MP sensor can match or better the sensor in the 7DMkII for noise and DR which is probably the best crop sensor that Canon have produced to date. The rest of the spec seems pretty decent. Canon seem to be producing a camera at every price point now. Wonder is these are going to replace anything.

Unfortunately these days any new camera announcement is judged on "the holy grail" of noise and DR to the detriment of the rest of the camera. The 5DS/SR took 8 posts before the ISO was mentioned.

I'd very much hope that Canon wouldn't launch a new improved sensor on the 750/760 so soon after launching the 7D2. My expectations are that it will have higher high-ISO noise and lower DR.

Yes that would be a misculation if the sensor on the 760 d is better than the new 7dmk 2

An improved sensor is one thing but build quality, ISO range and things like low light level capabilities come into play as well.
I very much doubt that Canon would release cheaper XXXD bodies that could out perfrom the 70D and 7D mkII as they would only shoot themeselves in the foot.

I'm seriously considering the 760 as a present for the Mrs in the next couple of weeks, does anybody know when they are expected in stock ?
