Good composition Gerard with the out of focus pulley mirroring your in focus pulley. Definitely looks heavy.

That's really lovely, and bang on theme. I do wonder if you need quite all of the glass and space at the top.
 
I like that a lot. Does mean I'll have to shelve one of my (not so original, it seems!) ideas!!!
 
Love this Gerard. The light makes me think of an art deco pattern. Spot on the theme.

Alley - lots of interesting shapes with plenty to look at. I assume it was a conscious decision to crop the bike, I'm wondering how it looked with the full bike.

Heavy - Great use of DOF providing just enough detail in the background

Light - the pattern looks like a dove in flight. The best camera is definitely the one you have to hand or you could miss the opportunity

That makes an interesting, almost abstract shot. Sounds like you have a lot going on in life which is possibly why you don't feel too inspired by the challenge?
