Rare to get a good photograph of our queen in recent years possibly down to the aul fella having no patience for photographs. Just take the “fxxxing photo son” :D

The protocol abbreviation is HMQ, short for Her Majesty the Queen.

Her Majesty is how you address her.
 
Anytime I've been asked to take pics where the Queen might be remotely involved, the staff refer to her as HM, Buck palace is BP

Her Majesty is how you refer to her. As Nod says, you address her as Your Majesty.

No, Your Royal Highness would be for other members of the Royal Family (prince and princesses). The Queen is Your Majesty.

HMQ on anything even vaguely official. Bear in mind that this stuff (Royal Rotas) used to be part of my job. :)

Maybe so but bear in mind that my stuff ( Behind-the-scenes at the Queen's Highland Pony Stud at Balmoral) in the H&H this week is my job. :)

Lillibet was her family name when she was growing up.

Reputedly Philip called her Sausage (presumably amongst other things!)
 
he was quoted on last nights programme as calling her lillibet, or lizibet, wasnt really paying too much attention.
