AA 2100 / AAA 800

Anyone else had any of these batteries fail?

I had an 800 AAA that was DOA and since then one of each has simply died with no charge whatsoever left in them.

I have not had these a year and will see what they have to say.

I have a hi-tech Techno BC700 charger so it is not that to blame

They replaced the one that was DOA so I expect they will replace these.

Odd that these are the first rechargeable batteries I have had that have suddenly died.

We use a lot of "industrial" AA rechargeables at work and a fair percentage of those are dead on arrival or fail quite quickly - cause me no end of problems with driving out to peoples houses to replace them (emergency lifeline systems)

I have just had some 2800 7dayshop aa start to fail, I shouldnt complain mind, they are 6 years old and used all the time.

Most of mine failed within a year of regular use while using a cheap charger.
Have refreshed them using a decent charger and they seem to be ok now, but are kept as spares as I now have a lot of eneloops.

I always lose them before they've got any chance of dying... must stop lending them to sound guys who need AAs for radio mics!

Always worked fine for me though, despite fairly heavy use...
