I want to create an archive of 6x4 photos. What are the storage solutions? I want some kind of box that will hold a few hundred photos that's readily available and that I will be able to get more of in the future so I'm looking for something fairly generic. Ideally it would be stackable with index cards of some description. Anybody got any links for me?

When you find something suitable, I would buy as many as you think you'll eventually need. Mrs Nod started off with a few nice card index boxes for her clients' class package cards but soon outgrew the few she had. I managed to find a couple more but that was all. As her client base expanded, she needed more space for the cards and had to find a new solution to keep them all looking neat and tidy. I think we have the same amount of boxes in the loft here as she currently has full at her studio so she should be Ok. Should be!

Try Gresswell, but you may need to request the dead-tree catalogue to find what you're looking for - www.gresswell.co.uk

Maybe Tiny Box Co ???

That's what I thought about buying a load of them. I've bought one box for now, should hold 700 shots. I've got a few hundred to archive straight away so if it works for me then I'll buy a bunch more and shove them in the loft.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions!
