Yes
I've been waiting on this one as I've been wanting to upgrade to FF for a while. I can't justify the price of a 5DMKiv and I think the MKiii is now overpriced. Rumours are saying the 6dMkii is coming on the 21st, before the NAB show. I'm not convinced, I think it will be a couple of months yet but it would be nice if tomorrow is the day.

Rumoured specs,
no 4k, which doesn't bother me in the slightest, I don't do video.
28mp,
at least 41 focus points,
6 or 7 fps,
Digic 7,
tilt screen,
etc etc.

I'm guessing price will be around 5dmkii territory, give a take a couple of hundred pounds. I'm guessing £1800-£1900.

I've got mine on pre order, pre order. ;-)

that date was discredited, i think by the same folks that started it!
i must admit i am interested in the mk11 as well

I've been thinking about the different FF bodies and it will be interesting to see what comes along.

I know, I remember similar before I bought my 70D.

If and when it is released, i certainly hope there is no tilt screen. Tilt screen = no/poor weather seal
funny you should say that, i am hoping it will have one! but just tilt not flappy screen:D. i never used to like them but since using m4/3 i love it.

I have no personal experience using them but Olympus E-M1 and E-M1mk2 and Panasonic G80 are all weather sealed with tilting screens. Never seen any negative reports about them leaking.

I love my tilt screen on my X-T10. I can take low down shots with it with ease, which is good as my knees get creakier all the time. I can't say much about weather sealing though as I'm yet to own a weather sealed camera, so if it's raining, the camera is in the bag.

isnt the Nikon d750 weather sealed as well, thinking about it?

The tilting/rotating screen is one thing I missed from my 60D when I moved to the 6D, so I'd be interested in that.
Nikon make the full frame D750 with tilting screens so why can't Canon make one?
Even the new Fuji medium format GFX50S has a tilting screen.
As for the rest of the supposed specs:
More MP? Yeah fine. More focus points, yes please. A higher frame rate might be handy, but not a big thing for me.

Been intrigued with the 6dmk2 for a while, seeing all the rumors brings a smile to my face.... after not being able to convince myself to go with a canon eos m5, I was hoping more info would be released.

My preferred specs would be

24-28mp, not fussed here really as long as canon can have super good iso performance in the top range
4k video? Well that's a bonus but that won't happen anyway...as long as we see decent sharp 1080, along with something like 120 fps at full hd?
swivel screen like the 80d/77d,
fps well, just make it fast and responsive, I reckon it will have around 6-7 fps
weather sealed.
oh and a nice decent viewfinder with 100% field of view
body size, around the 77d to no bigger than an 80d

I think we are looking at around £2,200 so the last three digits weren't bad.

It looks like there's a sizeable gap between the 5DIV and a "lower level" full-frame body in the Canon line-up, but the while the 6D is currently quite cheap it was around £1800 when it was launched back in 2012.

I think with the general rise in prices we've seen its easily going to be around £2000, similarly I'd expect the equivalent Nikon to end up priced around the same.

I would be surprised of such a price... the 5D iv is only GBP1400 on Amazon
But again... I am not an expert!

Good spot!

Thats an incredibly easy way to lose £1400, I can almost guarantee that you won't get any goods in return for that £1400 its a scam, well known on Amazon, if you look at most expensive items there are dodgy looking very cheap sellers.

Even the ones selling "grey imports" are charging over £3000

There is now one for £1,350 from a seller cht15topher88.

Does the Amazon a-z guarantee help?

Guys I did not know... that there were scam on Amazon.
I need to be careful.
I bought my Lee filter on Amazon...

Anyways thanks for the tips

Buy from Amazon themselves or at least those that are sold on behalf of. I buy plenty on Amazon, but like they say, if it's too good to be true...

I saw deals like this on Amazon when I was looking for a 6D. One would pop up for £600 from a brand new seller who had no feedback. The item would then go out of stock and then a new seller would pop up with the item at a similar price.

Also be aware, if you buy from the Amazon Marketplace with a credit card, and the seller is dodgy you may not be covered by your credit card company.
"However, it has emerged that shoppers buying through Amazon's Marketplace service do not get this protection because of the complicated way the internet giant processes payments. The fact that Amazon takes the money then passes it on to the retailer – minus its commission – renders the protection invalid, Guardian Money has learned."

I would have thought so. In a world where the D750 is £1600 (only £100 less than its launch price over two years ago) I can't see any full frame DSLR launching for much less than £2k these days.
