64gb CF card bargain?

Whilst I know it's still incredibly expensive, £250 for a 64gb Sandisk Extreme Pro (90MBs) CF card seems pretty good value compared to everything else I can find online. Any thoughts?

To be honest I have no idea why anybody would really want a card that big - its an expensive failure if it breaks or you lose it, both in the pictures you lose and the value of the card!
 
For video, it'd be incredibly useful... And you'd hope that it wouldn't fail (Extreme Pro is supposedly the most reliable)! But yeah, it is slightly putting all your eggs in one basket.
 
I always used to go for smaller ones, but when you upgrade your camera and the file sizes have gone up again you end up wishing you had a larger card to hold the same number of photos.
 
video's the only real target for these huge cards :)

64gb in a sony Z7, and you can get about 4 hours continuous recording iirc... pretty nice.
 
I use a 64 for video in my 5DII, and let me tell you, that thing gets filled FAST. I wouldn't even think about using my 4gb for video at all, as I'd get 11 mins out of it at best!
