I have become obsessed with the Kodak Box Brownie and really want to get one. However I am of the understanding that 620 film is very rare. Is there anywhere that still sells it? Or are there other options? Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Graham

You can respool 120 film onto the one (hopefully) in your BB, have a look HERE or you can buy 620 from HERE.

That's great, thank you very much. I think I will stick to buying it for as long as possible, re-spooling is something I can't do right now. Thank you again my friend.

Thanks for posting that link. That is a supplier I was not aware of. I bought some film yesterday. If this thread was posted a day earlier, I would have used Photo Supplies instead. They have a good price on Agfa APX 100 - one of the film types I bought!

I might try some 620 myself, also in a Kodak Brownie.

They also do 828, I thought my bantam was a paperweight for life :)

Glad to be of help guys. Thats what the Forum is all about. Done the 120/620 respool and its a bit of a pain. Mind you, 120 aint cheap either! Sticking to my Olly's for now.

It is indeed what the forum is all about. This is fantastic, sharing the help. I shared the website on my fan page too. It's awesome place for some rare, sought after film types.
:)

Perfect example of just what this forum is about. Just might buy myself a 620 folder..

The few times i've used a 620 camera i just clipped and filed the 120 spool to the same size and used an old 620 for the take-up side. Just remember to ask the lab for the 620 spool back.
