Has anyone had any problems with using hot shoe adapter on a EOS 60D, someone has told me not to use one as it will damage the camera. Is this correct.
Need to use sync cable as can't afford an infra red trigger and having problems with flash triggering bowens prolite 60 which I have just bought second hand. They do trigger but appear to be out of sync. Thought the cable would solve the problem but now been told adapter will burn the hot shoe mount on the camera. I have bought a HAMA one.
