I'll watch any old crap if England are playing, hockey......darts.....carp fishing, even RU
 
Saw the preview with the Kiwi whinging about the roof then the first half. Didn't see the end.

Only teams I don't have any blood relationship with are Wales and Italy (and I expect there's some of both hidden somewhere!).
 
Just a quick shout before me and the grandson head to the pub for the game
 
Bloody disgrace....not one pub in town showing the 6 nations......either bloody football or the news channel:mad:
 
If I were you, I'd make another tour of all the pubs - a shot in each!!!

Italy always defend well in fairness, but yes, Ireland seem very bereft of attacking flair.
 
Both teams are not playing well, though Ireland seems to be improving for the last 15 mins.
 
To be fair at this stage of the game they don't have to do anything.
 
To be quite honest there has been no team that outstanding for the first matches

I'd watch anything if the English are getting beat. I've been watching a fair bit of cricket recently:D
 
Only saw half of it but the Scots looked quite capable of taking that game.

What they need to do is, get rid of 2 players, sort out their ridiculous scoring and stop kicking the ball out the ground every 10 seconds...:)
 
Ireland struggled a lot more than I thought they would. Perhaps it being first game and traveling got to them. Pity Italy don't seem to be able to increase their skill - they have plenty of commitment.

France v Scotland could have gone either way.

No, the standard of play over the opening games bodes badly for the northern hemisphere teams for the World Cup later this year

Funny that as I have to say I like to watch anything Scotland are getting beaten in, gives me even more choice than if I were to pick anything England were getting beaten on :P

Damnation :P still at least you'll not have far to travel :P have been lucky to have lots of trips to fortress twickers over the years but I'm somewhat sad I'll not be there for any of the RWC :(
 
Aren't you just tempted to sell the final tickets though.....they will fetch a fortune I'm sure.

Some things are worth more than money, I know if I had some tickets, and England were in the final, you'd have to wave life changing amounts of money under my nose to get them from out of my hands :P
 
Humm... Problem is for me, if I had got 4 x £750 tickets, you could easily flip them for £2,500. I can't think of too many other ways to make £7k so easily.... I'd happily watch it on my sofa or down the pub.

Horses for courses I guess but actually being there vs on TV for me there is no contest sometimes it's just not all about the money so as I said would have to be a life changing amount lol
 
Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the whole competition. I did get tickets to three matches, none of the England matches though! Damn it!
 
My dad, my two step brothers and I applied for a bundle load of tickets, we really didn't get that much.

We're there any cheap seats? the pricing was all hideous to me!

I didn't think they were. Just to make you jealous one of my friends has tickets for both semis, various group matches & the final. I don't envy his credit card bill though.

I'd be a little upset had I no tickets. It's fairly disruptive so I may as well go :)
