5D3 111 fever

Diazepam might help. Of course, you could always stop reading. BTW it is a lovely camera. :D

This no noise reduction ISO 8000 image might make you feel a bit better? :p

I found the cure yesterday... It cost me my 7D and a serious amount of cash but I'm more than happy with the results so far! :)

These threads really aren't helping my (feeble) attempts at convincing myself not to get one.

With the improved AF I think the MkIII could be an amazing body for Motorsport.

Have you turned off high ISO noise reduction?

I have mine set to low, but haven't tried the other settings yet

Mine's on low too.. like you i haven't tested the others.. didn't feel the need to be honest i doubt i'll ever shoot beyond 6400 anyway but nice feeling knowing it's there if you need it isn't it.

Mine cost me a 5D2 and a 7D but I ended up with a camera that's better than the best bits of the 2 put together. Well worth every penny.

if i caved in and cured myself, i would lose a wife in the process.

what should i do? stick with having a 5d3 fever or get rid of the missus?

My Missus might get rid of me when she comes home from work and see's what I have ordered Ha HA

When I took her to work this morning I told her I was thinking about buying a camera - her not having a clue as to the cost

I guess 26yrs of Marriage might save the day
having said that..... I might have to be somewhat economical with the true price

Don't use words like cost, use words like value and worth. Tell her how much you have saved, not how much you have spent.

You know, the same terminology they use when they come home laden with new bags and shoes....;)

It's a wonderful camera. I'm so happy I upgraded.

Had to get one, absolutely love this camera - ISO performance is unreal
