Hi all, first thread here
Basically, I've been photographing for a short while and really gotten into it. I've managed to start selling photos to drivers in a small(ish) national race series - only small time but making a bit of money on the side of getting to watch the racing for nothing.
At the moment I have:
Canon 400D, 18-55 kit lens (EF-S?), 55-250mm IS lens (EF-S) and 300mm F4 L prime (EF).
....but most of the time, I end up using the 250 as the 300mm is too long for the sort of shots I'm after mainly due to the crop factor on the camera.
Basically, if I were to upgrade to a 5D, what would it do for my images?
It seems a little light on FPS, but more MP would definately be a bonus considering the number of large A2 and A1 prints I've been asked for......
To sum up, I'm quite tempted to upgrade, but want to know that it'll be a massive difference over my current 400D to justify the expense
I don't suppose anyone has some shots taken with both 400D and 5D (of the same object) to compare side by side?
Cheers for any advice,
Andy
