hi can anyone tell me how i select the card i want to download images from when downloading to my laptop, also viewing the images on the lcd screen.
on a seperate note can i choose which card the images go to when shooting?

Not sure about downloading images as I just take the memory card out and pop it into a memory card reader on the computer (much easier than removing the rubber flap and inserting the USB cable).

For pretty much everything else you need the "Record func+card folder sel" menu options. You can choose which memory card to write to and which to playback from. I tend to use Record Seperately and have the CF card set to RAW and the SD Card to jpeg (for backup). I playback from the CF card as that is the one I would use to transfer pictures to the computer. Writing to the SD card is slower so not really recommended for RAW files if you are shooting sports for example and shoot in a large number of bursts.

thanks for the reply, when i am reviewing images on the lcd i cant find a way to choose a card to review it seems to just show the images i have just taken

As bob said. I tend to shoot raw to cf, small jpeg to the sd card. Small jpeg is still a use able size if an issue with r the cf card. I also take it out the camera to load to pc using a usb 3 reader for speed.
