Hi,

I'm searching for a safety and well known online store where I can buy one of these for the best price.

Any tips?

Thanks,
David

If you don't mind the stock coming from Hong Kong you might try Digital Rev, from whom I bought my 50D last year and several lenses a couple of years back. They have the 5D2 for £1850 including VAT and delivery....

I don't think you'll get warranty support from Canon UK, but Digital Rev have their own UK based customer support. Give them a ring if you have any concerns.

p.s. delivery is quick too. I ordered my 50D on a Tuesday and had the camera delivered two days later. You might also check their eBay store. Sometimes they have goods already in London and ready for immediate despatch....

Body only, from Hong Kong - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Canon-EOS-5D-...34.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301:1|293:1|294:30

give kerso (member here) a buzz!

My friend and I bought 2x 5D mark IIs, a 24-70mm f2.8 and a 70-200mm f2.8 IS L from Digital Rev a few weeks ago. Their ebay items are cheaper than those from their shop but are covered by the same guarantees. Like tdodd says, you don't get a canon warranty if you not living in china but they do provide a warranty service for you.

All our items were shipped after a few days and once shipped arrived the following day.

I would also recommend Kerso.....most people on here use him and his service is great.

I have used Kerso for lens sales, as these are covered by UK warranty, but bodies I would recommend paying that extra little bit for a body from a UK shop, i simply bought via affiliate (cashback link) and went for £2099 - 3% from jessops and collected from store! You can take it back to store if it goes wrong and my local jessops are very helpful!

Thanks a lot for your help guys!
A friend of mine who also sells photographic equipment (I just sell classic and used stuff) got me a nice price for one. 2145 eur (1889GBP), including shipping. One year warranty and he takes care of everything in case there is any problem with the camera.

Hong Kong prices are very attractive but I didn't want to pay an extra of 30% or more, which is the usual tax for products imported from outside the European union.
