Is it possible to use the above together? I've been experimenting and I can get them all to fire at the same time but the speedlight is taking about 30secs to recycle and be ready again which isn't much use! It's on ETTL and connected to camera using a cable from the radio trigger.

Is it possible to get it to recycle faster or do I need another studio light?

What sort of radio triggers are you using?

I thought you would need radio Poppers or the very latest PW to use ETTL?

Maybe your batteries need changing if the 580 is not recycling quicker.
 
Not sure what trigger it is, came with the lencarta lights. Could be the battery - I'll change them and try again, thanks
 
The Lencarta radio trigger can't do ETTL - very few triggers are desigined to work with ETTL because most people want to use them for studio flash.

My advice is to use your hotshoe flash on manual, change the batteries and try again.
 
Buy some cheap trigger/receiver sets. One receiver on one of your Lencartas, one on your flashgun. That should work.

Your Lencartas also have an optical slave don't they?

Get a radio trigger like the Yongnuo RF-602 for under £30, and connect that to your 580 (on manual). That will fire, and the Lencartas will trigger off that via their optical slaves.

Shutter speed 1/160sec max.

Get some flippin batteries!
