550D red 150-200 pixel cluster?

HI all,
Has anybody had a similar problem?

I was taking photos for a couple of hours indoors when I noticed a red spot appearing on my photos, I changed lens thinking it might be dust or something but the spot was still there, I switched the camera off and left it overnight then when I tried again the red spot was gone,
I would really appreciate help with this as its very worrying, the 550D is approx 4-5 months old.

Not sure how to include photo please advise

Sounds like a problem with the sensor to me. The camera is still under warranty so you shouldn't be out of pocket. As to showing a sample pic you can upload to your gallery here or link to a flickr/picasa/someotherpicturehosting acount
 
Sounds like a hot pixel but not if it's a cluster like what you say in the title. From the research I did when my old D40 had a hot pixel there's very little you can do apart from send it back or clone it out of every shot. They come and go for the most part though.
 
As Dave said a few hot pixels now and again is nothing to worry about but a cluster is definitely an issue.
