It's not! It appeared in some posts, then disappeared again!

I need to take more photos during times when I'm not on holiday. I figure it means I'll have a better eye for when I AM on vacation... I'm in.

I'm probably not going to stick to the themes, but just do my own thing instead. :)
 
I need some motivation to get out and use my camera more, so count me in.

I need some help please... turns out 50 members in the Flickr group is a bit of a handful! LOL

This is an official request for some volunteers to help over see the group with me and keep it ticking over, posting discussions etc. etc... :D looking for 2-1 poeple to assist please. Name on the back of a postcard (or a flickr/TP mail will suffice) :lol:

I'd like to apologise to all the 52 participants... I'm afraid time constraints mean I'm not going to be able to get around to all the threads in the 52 this year.

Me too I made an effort to try and reply to a lot of them over the weekend, think next week I will reply to the ones I didn't reply to this week if that makes sense

I can help in the evenings and a chunk of the weekends if it's any good - I mean... I need something else to do :nuts: :bonk:

I think anyone who's managing to get round to all of them every week deserves a medal (or locking away) :lol: I'm aiming to get around about a quarter of the threads over the course of a week, so hopefully I'll be dropping into every thread at least once a month. (I just wish people would slow down with their week 3 submissions I've only just started to look at week 2!!!)

TBH if everyone commented in every thread every week I think it would lose some value - there's only so much feedback that can be given before it gets repetitive. I think the most important thing is that the critique gets spread around so that everyone gets some decent feedback each week and nobody gets left at the bottom of the last page, forgotten about and lonely :(

Anyway a huge thank you and well done to all of those who are doing such a great job with leaving feedback and encouraging their fellow 52ers along - and to those of you who are putting the extra time in to run the Flickr group and maintain the list of participants & spreadsheet :clap:
 
About the blue information phrases below the posts - such as '52 week challenge' '2102 spreadsheet'.

How does one get these to appear so that tp'ers can link to those threads?

I am sure that I have read it in one of the many posts on these subjects but I am blowed if i can find it now.
 
have your thread open at the beginning of it,
copy the text in your address bar of your browser
now click on my tp tab at the top of the forum page
edit signature,
type in 52 week or whatever you wish to title your link
highlight this text by dragging the mouse over it
click on insert link,
now right click and paste, then save

Your signature doesn't show on every post though.
Hope this makes sense

Excellent clear instructions.
This is a test to see if it works!
 
Just a quick comment, you have got the box ticked down in the bottom right of where you type your message, where it says 'Show your signature' haven't you?

Only ask as I unclicked it by accident a while back and couldn't work out why no posts had no signature showing, till I noticed what i had done.

Thanks. yes it is ticked but I did not even know about the box so that is a helpful reminder. I have read somewhere that messages need to be of a certain lenght before the signature is included so if i ramble on maybe it will work>:D Please excuse me:)
 
Does anyone know what's happening with the Flickr group? I've tried to add my
latest shot, but got a message telling me it would be added if approved by the admin - that's never happened before - and the photo isn't appearing.

I've posted about it on the group, and PM'd Clawz, but nothing. There haven't been any other new shots added in the last few days either.
 
Hover your mouse over the icon to the very left of the thread (The one that changes if there is a new post inside) and it will show you what date you last posted in that thread.

Hope this helps.
