Week 10: patterns. Visited the groet kerk in Dordrecht and the pattern of the chairs caught my eye.

Yes it was something I thought of when I saw the shot. I was in a small street with no options to stand further back or more importantly to get higher up eg in an adjacent building. I was even looking for benches or other street furniture to stand on. I liked the outcome but would have been good to capture it from another angle.

Week 12: broken
On a walk near the IJselmeer and saw this - don’t know what it was but seemed rather broken. Quite liked the converging lines of its leaning structure and the path and water edge.

Week 15: snappers choice and tech long exposure.
Been keen to try another long exposure but constrained by my tripod being in another country. However the tram stop has some railings which I perched my camera on for this shot of 1.3s at f9.
