on theme, but not one to get excited by I'm afraid!!

(Feel free to say the same about mine when I post it after lunch!)

A good mineral shot, I like the lighting and the shadow :)

HI MArk

the inclusion of the green piece add's a good splash of color , the shadow at the bottom doesn't worry me but the darker area running down the front of the stack niggles a touch ....wonder what the stack would like like with the middle bigger rock at the bottom

JUst gorgeous - I love seaglass and you've captured the luminosity of it perfectly. Love the background colour - sets it off nicely, but the shadow seems a bit dark/shadowy to me.

Thanks, I agree it is a bit dull.

The highlight for me is the greenish aqua stone....adds to the feeling of mineral and implies dreamy thoughts of enjoying a spa day.......:jawdrop:........if I was a woman that is

:D

Hi Mark
Mineral - like the comp , the stack and the muted colours. A little bit bright and so some detail lost in the top pieces, but bottom ones nice.

Nice composition and really like the muted colours

simple but effective I like it :)

Thanks for your kind words.

You beat me by just seven minutes for this interpretation. Could be said you won by a nose!!:D:D. However unlike me, you have go the DoF right.

I think it's a guinea pig, my wife thinks it's a puppy; what is it?

 very good Mark, I like it. Sharp, clear, good dof and not too central for me (y)

Great sharp image, I would have liked to have seen it with a tighter crop.

Blimey, that's SHARP!!

Thanks.

Lol......nice image made me laugh

Hi MArk

cracking shot of the pup's nose ,no crit here

Actually there is....I wanna see the whole of the cute little chap / chapess :D

A very pink puppies nose! its all been said :clap:

Cracking shot fits the theme nicely, and very sharp indeed zero crit from me.

Ta very much.

Cracking detail and lovely colours. Like it. I'd be tempted to get even closer.

Cheers.

Cheers, I'll try a tighter crop.

Hi Mark great pic of the dogs nose nice and sharp nothing else to add (y)

Good exposure and, as has been said very sharp and lots of detail.

You get a big thumbs up given it's a Springer. We've got one and a Working Cocker.

Photo wise - this is super sharp. I don't find it too central at all with the slightly off horizontal approach adding to the impact of the image.

Awwww what a cute little pink nose......totally irresistible.....very nice shot :)

Totally!
Cracking shot.

Great shot! Time for a shave, Mark! :)

Clear and crisp image, love the detail.

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks, we have a few Springers - great fun :)

Hi Mark, whoops, sorry for not dropping in before now.

Smoke, Yes the lighter patches in the corner would be better gone and some editing could do that. But I would start with cropping the left side so it exactly mirrors the RHS, maybe a little off the top and bottom if needed to fit any chosen crop size.

Mineral, I think the shadow would work better if it was more defined all round. The bit on the left is solid, then a bit diffused from the angle of the top stone, then the bit on the RHS is somewhere in between.

Sense, now I’m not usually one for looking up an animal’s nose, but this is great, just the right DOF and super sharp where needed. Maybe just a touch more room needed on the right to include some of the whiskers, but otherwise I think the central snoz shot works :)

Nice and sharp great capture (y)

fantastic detail there well done
