Love the composition and lighting of chopped!! Works well and is out of the norm!! Great job :thumbs:
 
Cheers for the comments folks, I did struggle this week and with more time I would like to have refined the concept a wee bit further but I'm reasonably happy with how it turned out and may revisit it in the future.

Week 1 Fits very well with the theme.

Week 2 Pass me a glass.......;)

Week 3 Would not have guessed it was potato, like the lighting looks like a pile of chopped wood.

:clap: Full marks for trying something completely different this week. I love the backlighting effect through the tracing paper and good to see this is getting you to try new effects. I'd definitely like to see you experiment more with this technique.

I'm sat on the fence with this particular shot though - swinging between loving it and hating it. I keep going back for another look which can only be a good thing.

On balance I think I have to give it a :thumbs:
There's definitely something fascinating about it. I would never have guessed that it was potato and that lighting effect really is something special.
 
EXcellent image for Poem Tommy.. I'm not sure about the chopped shot. I'm not sure it shouts chopped... Having said that, I do like it and the backlit effect works really well.
 
Looks like your 52 got the chop too! Why oh why are so many people finding it so difficult to post just one shot each week?
