HK supplies maybe slightly cheaper but you will have to wait and you may get hit with vat/customs charges.

Cheapest I can find is amazon £81.02 via camera price buster. Looks like Kerso is the way to go.

I bought mine from him and will buy another one as i got rid of it and regret it now.
 
I've bought 2 lenses off him so far and have had top notch service and rock bottom prices both times. Highly recommended.
 
These take 52mm filters?
 
PM Kesro he'll know and he does Hoya filters too. He'll also be able to give a price for lens should still be around £70
 
Kerso was doing them for £80 delivered, with Hoya filter. Not sure if he still is.

Thanks, just brought the 50mm lens from him. Didnt know about the filter and lens for 80 ***.

Am I right in thinking I need a 52mm filter for the 50mm lens?

Yes it's 52mm but I'm not sure about 'need'. I've got the Hoya filter for mine but I get crazy lens flare so I don't use it unless there are things flying towards the lens!
 
I wouldn't bother with a 'protection' filter on the Canon 50mm tbh.

The element is well recessed so harder to scratch
