Has anybody on here bought the 50D body only? If so do Canon include a battery and charger? I did not expect to see this supplied when I purchased a 400D body only once, so was wondering if they are cutting back on those little extras.
 
Im sorry but I find this question silly.
Even doh I havent bought just body by it self, it would be stupid to not supply battery and charger...If you buy body with kit lens, lens doesnt need battery and charger right? ;)
 
Well bastic why answer if you find the question silly? From checking out body only prices from shops local to myself, they all advertise underneath as extras, batteries etc. Like I said I wasnt sure, simple enough question to ask without me phoning the shop. Anyway problem solved.

Besides not wanting a lens as I already have some.

you'll get a battery charger and a battery

unless you've gone for their solar powered version?
 
I imported mine from Digitalrev, Hong Kong however it came with the battery (official) and Charger (official) - As it was imported it was a foreign connection, however they supplied the needed adapter.

If you are buying in the UK you will get the UK charger.
 
I bought body only and it comes with charger, battery,strap and software and leads.
