4K monitor for editing, any recommendations?

I'm thinking about upgrading my monitor to 4K.
I've currently a 27" 2560x1440p, does anyone have any recommendations?
It'd be used primarily for editing and on the very rare occasion to game.
Must be 27" or above. There's just too many to choose from and I've no idea where to start.
 
I would go for the Dell 2715. Although I down sized from the 3008wfp to the 2415q and find that perfectly size and I've two of them now :)
 
There are not many decent 4k screens at the moment. There are loads of 4k screens, but not that many designed for high end image applications. Loads of manufacturers jumped on the 4k bandwagon of course, but there's a great deal of variability from what I've seen.

The Dell UP3214Q is a nice 4k screen and can be hardware profiled with the X-rite i1 Display. It needs Display Port to drive it at 60hz though, but that's not uncommon with 4k... Don't use HDMI. It's 99% Adobe RGB wide gamut. Can get it for around £750.

As for gaming at 4k.. I hope you have a serious GPU, or preferably... GPUs (plural).

Depends which one you select. If you get the 2715q from the 2715 series you'd get a 4K one. Isn't that rather obvious when you are after a 4K screen. Just google for "4K 2715" and see what you get.
 
Probably best to include the P and Q to avoid any confusion.

Thanks. Yes grammar as in sentence construction is totally the other way round in my native language.

Always a good sign I think if the only thing left to comment is spelling or grammar :thumbs:
