450D continuos shooting problem?

I've got my camera set to continuos shooting, but it only fires 2 shots, waits a second, then shoots another.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to sort it?

Could be the write to card buffer problem, low battery, size of file you are using, using auto (it will try and alter settings for each shot), some of the things that could be a factor.

Am thinking the same, the card is a sandisk so it shouldn't have a problem really. I don't know wether to just accept it or send it back.:shrug:
 
try manualylysetting the exposure, test different cards,
 
You're not using the flash, are you?
 
I've got a 450D and a 2Gb SanDisk card - I've not had any issues with continuos shooting so far ..... Has the issue only just started happening?

As the others have stated - it might be worth trying a few other settings and/or a new card and see how it goes.

For the record, this is my first SLR - so I have not ventured into the world of full manual shooting just yet!! The preset's and AV / TV settings that use continuous work fine for me though - so could be an issue with your card or camera.
 
Oohhhhh I've sussed it! Phew!!
OK on the custom functions i had the high ISO speed noise reduction on.
In this mode you can only take 2 shots in a row.

Hopefully this will help anyone that has the same problem :)

So factory reset wroked , bet your well chuffed
 
All in good time mate, just goin through a load of footie pix from today.
as an example, this is across the width of the pitch, cropped...& still clear :)
