I'm looking through eBay for another battery for my 450D but there's so many different ones. I know some are going to be awful for the price, and I also suspect some will be better than Canon for the price but I really don't want to risk it.

Has anyone tried and tested a battery from eBay? How did it compare?

Could you link me directly to battery you've got and know it's just as good as the original Canon battery?

I can second the recommendation for 7dayshop. Bought 2 lots for 450D and 5D and they are still working fine nearly a year later. :)

I just feel tacky buying non-Canon parts. :shake:
 
One problem with fleabay is the possibitily of getting "fake" genuine Canon ones, if you know what I mean. I'd go for a reputable dealer like 7 day shop or similar. Wayne

I went for the same deal for my 350D and was quite surprised to find just how good quality the grip actually is, as for the batteries no complaints so far.
